Writing about other companies

As a rule, we honour any name/spelling/punctuation a company has chosen for itself and its products (even those poor, tasteless souls who use camelCase).

Go by whatever is on their website. Here are a few that come up regularly:

• Shopify

• BigCommerce (formerly Bigcommerce)

• WooCommerce

• Mailchimp (formerly MailChimp)

• YouTube

• iPhone, iPad, iMac

• eBay

• Airbnb

• GoPro

Don't italicize the names of companies and products.

Refer to a company or product as it not they.
